I have finally found a place that I feel safe and loved. So many humans come and see me on a daily basis, but I am still waiting for my family. The staff as the Stevens-Swan Humane Society is wonderful. They gave me a new name, they make sure I have received all of the proper care I need to ensure I am ready for when my family comes to pick me up.
I want to say thank you. Thank you, because you have made a difference in all of our lives here at the Stevens-Swan Humane Society. Because of your humane society donations, we have warm blankets, clean bedrooms, food and my furry friends and I all have been …
- Treated with our initial vaccines
- Spay/neutered
- Dewormed, received flea treatments
- Microchipped
- Tested for heartworm and tick borne disease (dogs)
- FIV/FeLv/HW testing (cats)
I am very proud of all the hard work my care takers at Stevens-Swan Humane Society have given me and my furry friends.
On behalf of me and all the animals at the shelter, we ask you to consider making a donation to continue to improve and provide the wonderful care we receive here. We are all not perfect … some of my furry friends have had a really hard time adjusting to love because of their old life. It’s because of you and your donations that all of us at the shelter feel loved and are given hope to find our forever family.
Thank You,
Ruff & Meow
This holiday season, you can help save an animal’s life by donating to the Stevens-Swan Humane Society and having that gift matched by the Staffworks “Save A Life” Campaign! Donations are being matched from November 30th, 2020 through December 31st, 2020.
With the ever-evolving COVID-19 environment, fundraising has been extremely difficult. With all of the restrictions, we have had to cancel nearly all of our fundraising events. As you can imagine, now more than ever, we are in desperate need of your support! The “Save A Life” Campaign will allow us to makeup for the lost contributions from the fundraisers we typically rely on to survive.
Stevens-Swan Humane Society is a no-kill shelter that survives on the generosity of our community. Support from donors, like you, allows us to continue our many community out-reach programs, as well as, provide a loving, comfortable and caring environment with excellent veterinary care for the 300+ animals who need our help on any given day.
This month the Staffworks Fund Save A Life Campaign will multiply the impact of your donation with matching funds.
- $10,000 MATCH for reaching $10,000 in donations
- $1,000 MATCH for every additional $5,000 in donations
- $2,000 BONUS for reaching $100,000 in donations.
- $30,000 Potential!
PLEASE GIVE TO HELP ANIMALS IN OUR COMMUNITY
Since 2014, the Save A Life Campaign has raised more than $3.1 million for non-profit organizations caring for at-risk animals in our regional community, with donors contributing more than $2.1 million to secure matching funds from the Staffworks Fund.
Anita Vitullo, founder of the Save A Life Campaign stated, “COVID has significantly affected fundraising efforts for many organizations that provide direct care and support services for homeless and abused animals, spay/neuter programs, and pet food pantries. While they are devoted to helping underserved animals, they cannot provide crucial services without our donations. Funds raised and matched during this Campaign will sustain these organizations’ operations and programs through 2021.”
